It is not officially summer, but it is starting to feel like it! I am loving just coming home and just chillin in the backyard. Kenley has been having a blast playing in her little playhouse and slide. She also is obsessed with bubbles and anything to do with water. This weekend we got her a little sprinkler mat and she had so much fn playing in it. Now every time we go out she asks for it, or stands by the hose saying "wawa." I have also been eating lunch outide the last few days with my coworker, JoAnne. It's been a nice little break in the day and I think I've gotten a little tan!
The summer parties have also begun, starting with my cousin, Carri's bridal shower. It was really nice and fun to spend some time with the women of my family. My sister's baby shower is right around the corner, and I have had a blast planning it and buying decorations and checking out the newborn section again. We have also made plans for our summer vacation, and we rented a house in New Buffalo, Michigan. I've never been there before, but we are a few blocks from the beach, which is all I really care about. It also looks like some of our family are going to be able to join us for a night or two.
Here is what I hope most of my summer days look like:
